Choose JPG or PNG
JPG is the practical choice for email, websites and mixed devices. PNG is lossless but often much larger for photos. A JPG quality around 90% is a sensible starting point.
Convert locally
The bundled libheif WebAssembly decoder reads the container in your browser. A module Worker handles the normal path, and no third-party conversion service receives the photo.
Check the preview
Inspect orientation, dimensions and color. A HEIC container may include bursts or auxiliary images; this focused tool exports the primary first image and reports additional images.
Handle a batch safely
Convert up to 15 files. Each succeeds or fails independently, so one unsupported variant does not block completed downloads.
Keep the original
A converted copy does not preserve every metadata field, depth map, Live Photo component, edit history or burst image. Keep the original HEIC as the archive.
