Choose JPG for the broadest everyday compatibility
JPG is usually the practical choice for email, messaging, forms and recipients using mixed devices. Select a high quality setting when the converted photo may be printed or edited again.
Choose PNG only when lossless output matters
PNG preserves decoded pixels without lossy encoding, but photo files can become much larger. It is useful when a workflow explicitly requests PNG or when another editing step benefits from lossless output.
Preview orientation before downloading
HEIC stores image data and metadata in a container. The CollagePlus decoder applies the primary image orientation before encoding. Select a completed result and confirm that it is upright and uses expected dimensions.
Convert batches without losing successful files
Add up to 15 photos. Each file converts independently, so an unreadable container does not remove successful results. Download an individual image or collect finished files in a ZIP.
Keep the HEIC originals
Conversion creates compatible copies; it should not replace the originals in your library. HEIC may preserve information that is not carried into a simple JPG export.
