Protect people before combining anything
Review names, phone numbers, profile photos, locations and message content. Obtain permission when appropriate and redact private information in the source captures before adding them. Stitching does not remove sensitive details.
Capture with intentional overlap
A small repeated message at the boundary helps you verify sequence. The current lightweight stitcher combines complete screenshots rather than automatically removing overlap, so crop duplicates before upload when a seamless transcript is required.
Arrange the conversation top to bottom
Add up to 10 screenshots, select Vertical and reorder thumbnails so the oldest visible message comes first. The live preview updates automatically, making missing or reversed sections easy to spot.
Use consistent width
The tool scales images proportionally to one width and never stretches chat bubbles. Add a small gap when separate sections should remain obvious, or use zero spacing for a continuous visual record.
Choose PNG for text
PNG usually keeps small interface text and bubble edges crisp. If the long result is too large to send, export first, then use Image Compressor and compare text carefully before sharing.
