Use fewer, stronger photos
A tall canvas still has limited attention. Choose one anchor image and a few supporting moments with different distances or subjects. Nine nearly identical photos create clutter rather than a stronger story.
Match layout to hierarchy
Feature places the first image in a dominant vertical frame. Headline gives it a wide top frame. Grid treats images more equally, while Rows suits a sequence. Reorder thumbnails so the most important image occupies the first frame.
Adjust each cover crop
Click a frame in the preview or select its thumbnail. Increase Zoom only when needed, then move horizontal or vertical position until the subject is safe. The tool constrains movement to actual overflow so no empty gaps appear.
Keep spacing consistent
Use one background color and modest spacing. Rounded corners can soften a personal story; zero radius feels more editorial. Preview at phone width before export to check that smaller frames still communicate.
Choose standard or HD
Standard Story output is 1080 × 1920. The 2× option exports 2160 × 3840 with identical composition. JPG is practical for photo collages; PNG is lossless but often much larger.
